Bike to Work Week
It's Bike to Work week here in Kansas City. Because the emphasis is on carbon emissions reduction, people can participate whether they bike, walk, bus or carpool. While we typically ride the bus to work, and reduce our car trips as much as possible, it's fun to log these miles and see the difference we can make. Click here to see what we're up to!

Living downtown, I'm afraid to ride my bike to work. Instead, I try to walk as much as possible. I haven't taken the bus either -- I need to try that on a rainy day. Your dedication to the environment impresses me. We've been trying for months to get a recycling program in our condo. I cringe at the amount that gets thrown away around here each month that could be recycled.
