crocus sativus


I decided not to sign up for the intermediate cake class this session which leaves my Tuesday nights free for the gym and cooking at home! This week we tried another Giada recipe, Saffron Orzo with Shrimp from page 127 of 'Everyday Pasta'. Josh and Amy brought us Spanish saffron from their trip to Pamplona last summer. It was wonderful and tasted even better sitting out on the porch on a warm (and rain free!) spring evening!
