The second weekend in January found us skiing in Breckenridge, Colorado with some good friends. We stayed in a great ski in/ski out condo at the base of Peak 8. It has been awhile (10-12 years!) since either Mike or I had skied so we both enrolled in a half day lesson on the first morning but by Monday we were above the tree line skiing a black run. On Sunday our friend Jami Leahy (now a Colorado Springs resident) joined us while Scott and the boys went sledding. We'd like to thank now President Obama (and XM radio) for keeping us engaged and entertained for several hours of a VERY LONG car ride home on Tuesday. I don't think anyone will forget the trip or the inauguration anytime soon!
